This book study is for anyone who wants to embrace the biblical call for justice, and embark on a pursuit of freedom – freedom to fully live out our meaning and purpose. It is an opportunity to pursue the heart of God as we journey with one another in discipleship, being transformed and unleashed to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with our God.

Have you ever thought, “There must be more to the Christianlife than this?” In different times and ways, our heavenly Father offers us a simple proposition: Follow me beyond what you can control, beyond where your own strength and competencies can take you.

In the book JUST COURAGE, Gary Haugen, Founder and CEO of International Justice Mission, shares what the organization is doing to protect people who are poor from violence, end slavery and fight oppression. He reveals how seeking justice has unleashed a new level of trust, dependence, and faith in God that has snapped him out of “comfortable” Christianity into a courageous adventure of faith.

This 6-week study on JUST COURAGE will allow you to discover how you were created by God for adventure and how you can be a part of God’s great expedition with hope and courage.

You will:

• Explore what it means to answer the biblical call to seek justice
• Learn about the Christian journey from rescued to rescuer
• Learn about the call to courage and what it means to charge the darkness with hope
• Learn about your identity in Christ and craft your own story with God
